That's definitely one of the best Twitter parodies. But sometimes I wonder what he does think about when he's bored. The closest we got was when he was high on post-surgery pain meds.

I'm a mechanical engineer myself, but I have no professional automotive experience, unfortunately. Lots of unprofessional automotive experience... but something tells me that's not gonna get me in the door.

The first time an autonomous car misses a stop light, or cross walk, or braking point, it will kill people and everyone will wonder just who is at fault. I can guarantee you that the driver will Lawyer up and try to deflect all accusations to the manufacturer. Musk's company will defer to the software programmers and the programmers will blame the components or manufacturer installers. the real culprit? the driver who was texting and not comfirming all actions of said auto car. Autopilots from planes in cars are a dream but guess what? We are still watching that autopilot closely to confirm it does what we told/programmed it to do.
The driver is still going to be responsible that the car is safely operated. Don't plan on texting/eating/sccrewing on your morning drive more often that you can now and be safer.

Nor do I (professionally at least) have any automotive experience, but I do have some limited experience in optics. I'll just send it in tonight and see what happens. After all, I may only have a .001% chance of landing this job, but that's infinitely more likely than if I send in nothing at all.
